Getting Around Pachmarhi

Pachmarhi is known for its peaceful and verdant surroundings, away……….. from the congestions, pollution and hassles of a typical Indian city. Getting around the place is quite easy. You get taxi services for Sight seeing. You can either arrange a taxi by yourself or many of the hoteliers have their own package tours (mostly 05 days). You can either book an entire taxi or can get a shared one. These taxies will take you to different spots and other places of interest.

I personally recommend you to take the package tour offered by your hotelier or ask your hotelier to arrange a taxi for you. I am suggesting this because the private taxi operators operate in an unorganized sector, and in an unprofessional way, so if you ask your hotelier to arrange for the taxi, you can always have them accountable for the services.

If you have come to Pachmarhi by your own vehicles, then also I strongly suggest you not to take your vehicle to any of the sights which is inside the forest area, as Firstly only 4 x 4 petrol vehicle are capable to pull in such a steep terrain and secondly, if you want to enjoy the surroundings and feel the punch of the roller coaster ride of these terrain, then you should be free from concentrating on your wheels.

And don’t forget to put on your tracking / sports shoes, carry a pet water bottle and an extra pair of cloths (if you like to have a shower under the fall).
